Who We Are
"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much." -Helen Keller
The Goodhue County Child & Family Collaborative is an integrated children's mental health and family services collaborative. We are a partnership of schools, social services, public health, corrections, community non-profits and mental health providers that is committed to working on the complex issues that affect children and families.

Our History
The Minnesota Legislature established children's mental health and family services collaborative in 1993 as an innovative approach to address the needs of children and youth who face complex problems involving them and their families with multiple service systems. The Goodhue County Child & Family Collaborative is one of 90 collaboratives currently in Minnesota. Collaboratives are beneficial in improving communication and coordination between service providers county-wide. The Goodhue County Family Services Collaborative was originally established in 1999. In 2019 the Board of Directors voted to become an integrated children's mental health and family services collaborative to align with the work the Collaborative was already doing to promote the mental health and well-being in children, youth and young adults.
